A Long-Term Relationship Worthwhile (english version)

    Hey, everyone!

How are you? It's me again...

Today I wanted to share a little bit of my story with English.

I started studying English when I was 14, but I couldn't maintain the learning. After many years, I returned to studying, and now I am completely in love with this language.

Sometimes I get sad because some students or even professionals in the technology field postpone learning English:

"Oh, I don't have time to study," "I don't have money to pay for a course," "I'm tired."

I understand these excuses; I've used them too to postpone many things I needed to do. But I want to say that it's not worth waiting. If you don't want to do it for yourself, do it for your future self; they will thank you for sure!

You don't need much time to start learning English. Just 15 minutes a day, every day. And you don't need to spend money. There are many free resources available on the internet.

And if you're tired, don't worry. You can study anywhere, anytime. If you have 15 minutes in the morning, use them to listen to podcasts or English songs, for example. Or if you're on the bus going to work, take the opportunity to listen to English audios. And if you have some time at lunch, speak English with that colleague who is also learning. Don't be ashamed, don't be afraid; after all, making mistakes is part of the process, and without taking risks, there is no progress in learning. So speak when you can, even with your pets. And yes, let's stop asking "Where's the book?" Ask about the main news of the day! Move, just don't wait until you have more time, money, or disposition.

English is the most spoken language in the world, and knowing English opens doors to study, work, and travel opportunities. Only for these reasons, it should already be a great incentive for you to start yesterday. But we also have the factor that we can work for companies in another country, with a different culture, with different methods, and further expand our personal and professional skills. After all, the world is available; we just need to step out of our comfort zone.

I know that learning a new language can be challenging, but it's not impossible. With dedication and effort, you will succeed.

Here are some tips for those who are starting to learn English:

    - Start with the basics. Don't try to learn everything at once. Start with the basics and progress gradually.

    - Practice regularly. The more you practice, the better you will get.

    - Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes when learning a new language.

    - Find a study method that works for you. There are many English study methods available. Try different methods until you find one that you like and is effective.

And here's an extra tip that I learned on my journey:

English is like a long-term relationship. It will have ups and downs, but it's worth investing time and effort in it. Then it becomes a routine, an open world of information, and other learnings, other discoveries, and as a plus staying connected with what's happening in the world and with technologies. Having understanding and access to this can change your reality!

The sooner you start, the sooner you will get used to the language and start enjoying all the benefits it offers.

It took me many years to start studying English again, and I regret it a lot.
